About Nate
I am passionate about my country and continent!! The soul of Africa runs through my veins! I enjoy hosting tours and meeting people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. My tours are safe, comfortable, convenient, and flexible. Unless otherwise stated I will be your driver-guide as we travel by private transportation.
Most locations we visit are uncrowded, with great facilities, great activities, great resident guides, and great cuisine. Whether you want an activity intense itinerary or a laid back one, there is something available for you!
Some history
In the picture is my paternal grandfather. The original Nate! Both my dad's father and my mom's father were avid travelers, and sought work and livelihood beyond their respective family confines.
As for me, born and bred in Lusaka, Zambia, to a Zambian father and Zimbabwean mother, I was lucky to be exposed to multiple cultures from a young age. My parents constantly traveled between the 2 countries, and many times, us kids would follow. They were open minded travelers that liked to discover new places by car, train, plane, or boat!
As a result, my siblings and I grew up broad minded and desirous to learn about the world, with entrepreneurial spirit and enquiring minds, thinking outside the box. This has been ever so useful in our adult years.
What kind of tours do I offer?
I love discovering new places, but also returning to old favourites. I have been fortunate to form professional yet personal networks with fantastic service providers from whom I have learnt a lot (these include lodge owners, activity providers, tour operators, tour guides). This enables me to offer you a wide range of customized tours. Learning from past experiences, my passion for offering sustainable, exciting, affordable tours has only gotten stronger.
​Please note that many activities will be led by experienced resident guides and partners. In most cases, your tour package will include accommodation plus breakfast, activities, transportation, and my services as your driver-guide.
