As soon as we sent email that we need to do road trip with your company nate was so extremely patient/professional in answering all our questions which was so good and we feel comfortable to plan all itinerary for 1 month...
As this was the first time we were going on a trip organised by a tour operator, we were a little apprehensive about the whole experience but just in a couple of email exchanges/calls with nathan (Nate) we knew we were in the right & safe hands.
The quick turn around clear replies from nate to our queries helped us make the decision regarding our plan/itinerary.
Any customisation requests in the itinerary/room types were diligently handled by nate. He went that extra mile and ensured that we got the rooms of our choice in all the accommodations throughout the trip...
During the road trip, nate was perfect guide /careful/precise and punctual; I really appreciate his services and attention.
Nate is very knowledgeable/professional/polite/kind/funny/ helpful /patient and answered all our questions, he ensured we were safe throughout our safari trip.

The Best & Most Trustworthy Company!!! Nate’s African Expeditions! Highly Recommended to all from Alley in TZ & Julie in USA!!
This was our first Multi-Country trip through southern African countries and our first experience traveling “road trip style” and we didn’t know how to go about the booking. We wanted to experience the local life with highlights and activities mixed in along the way. We were tired of only seeing “Safari” companies online, as if that is the ONLY thing you can do and see in south African countries. OMG! There is SO MUCH MORE! And we SAW IT—And DID IT—Local-Style!!! If you want to experience local culture across the African continent, this is the trip and organizer for you. Thank God we found Mr. Nathan! He planned & organized our itinerary with the utmost care and consideration to everything we asked of him.
As soon as we sent the initial email, Nate was so extremely patient & professional in answering all of our questions…every last one of them. The quick turn around and crystal clear replies from Nate to our queries helped us fine tune our plan/itinerary efficiently. Any customization requests in the itinerary/room types/fees were diligently handled by Nate into something we could handle.
It was clear from the millisecond he picked us up from the airport that we were in safe and capable hands.
Nate was the perfect and competent guide…careful, precise and punctual; We really appreciated his services and attention to every detail. Within a few days, Nate was definitely a friend, rather than “just a guide” to us on the trip…We called ourselves The United Nations, as Nate is from Zambia and we are from Tanzania and USA.
Nate drove us through 6 countries and still had the energy to lead us on a 4 day climb up the highest mountain in Malawi!!!
We conquered ZAMBIA ZIMBABWE BOTSWANA NAMIBIA MALAWI & MOZAMBIQUE!!! Imagine the logistics of border crossings for all these countries for us plus our vehicle, not to mention all language and monetary changes as we went. Nate was well prepared, navigated all the issues, never missed a beat, and sped us through the process.
Nate is knowledgeable/professional/polite/respectful/courteous/kind/funny/helpful/patient and answered all of our multitude of questions day in and day out….and above all else he was a fantastic driver!! Never once did we feel unsafe with him at the wheel. As you may imagine, not all roads in southern Africa are the Autobahn! With several long days on the road, never once were they boring or uninteresting in any way and much of that was due to the fact that Nate can carry a conversation about literally anything and everything under the sun! He is one of the most fascinating, interesting and educated people we’ve ever met while traveling. We looked forward to the long drive days as much as the days filled with highlights and activities.
We were extremely happy and satisfied that we chose Nate’s African Expedition…YOU SHOULD TOO!!!! 3 Cheers! Grateful and blessed to have met Nate.

We had an amazing one day trip from Lusaka to the Lower Zambezi river with Nate’s Expedition! Everything was super well organized, and Nate was very knowledgeable and super polite. We saw lots of hippos, elephants, and crocodiles. Lunch was prepared according to our dietary needs. Highly recommend! If we had more time we would have planned something more fun with Nate’s expedition for sure!!!

Amazing experience with a wonderful and friendly guide. We had a full day of adventure at the lower zambezi national park, which included a long boat ride safari on the Zambezi river. We saw hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffalo, a variety of antelope and some special birds. It was truely a lovely experience, I would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic safari organised by Nate on short notice. My son and I were looking for a trip to get out of Lusaka for a few days. We contacted Nate late on a Friday and by Monday morning we were on our way. The 3 day trip he organised was seamless and included Victoria Falls, Chobe, with both a game drive and boat trip plus walking with rhinos. Nate was great company and was knowledgeable about a wide range of topics and was excellent company throughout. If you are looking for any kind of safari, in Zambia or nearby countries, Nate is 100% your first and only choice.

We had an unforgettable two-day experience with Nate’s African Expeditions and Nathan himself.
Despite our very limited time, Nathan did an amazing job organizing everything we were interested in into just two perfectly planned days. During this time, we explored the main highlights of Lusaka and enjoyed a breathtaking Zambezi River safari — truly an experience to remember. The photos speak for themselves.
Nathan was always punctual, respected every agreement, and shared a lot of interesting and insightful information along the way to the safari, which made the journey even more enjoyable. The transportation was more than comfortable, using a well-equipped and safe vehicle, so we felt relaxed and taken care of throughout the entire trip.

Nathan’s service from start to finish was exceptional. He was extremely helpful in guiding me through the trip organisation process, providing suggestions and updating the itinerary. I had lots of questions about Zambian parks and what to see where and how long to spend in each place etc…. Nathan was extremely helpful in answering all of these and guiding us to get the best out of our time in Zambia. Along the way, Nathan was an excellent, safe driver and a very genuine person. Each day was well planned. Driving distances are long in Zambia, and Nathan helped us find a good balance of seeing lots of places, without having too much driving! Still, 6/7hr drives are needed if you want to visit the main parks from Lusaka. We saw unbelievable wildlife in every park - SL, LZ, Kafue. Just a note on Lower Zambezi (west side), apart from extremely expensive camps, all are a 2hr drive / 90 minute boat from the park gate. This means it is difficult to be in the park for sunrise (the optimal time). Having said that, we still had brilliant viewing here. Overall, we had an amazing safari!

My friend and I went on the trip of a lifetime with Nate. We spent 5 days in total during which we visited the Victoria Falls on both the Zambian and Zimbabwe sides, did multiple safaris (including in Botswana) and did two river cruises and two village tours. The 5 days were perfectly planned and Nate was a pleasure to have as a guide throughout the whole tour. The accomodation he booked for us was excellent too. I strongly recommend this tour!

I rate Nathan 5+ stars! My friend and I had a great trip with Nathan from Lusaka to South Luangwa and then to the Malawian border where he organized onward transportation for us! Nathan is a safe and comfortable driver, he is also punctual which is a rare find! He is responsive, friendly, knowledgeable and happy to share his insights about his country and the region. Nathan went out of his way to make sure our whole journey (including border crossings) went as smoothly as possible despite Presidential visits. I’m so pleased I found Nathan online and booked a tour with him. We had a great time in Zambia and I highly recommend Nathan to anyone!

Nate is an amazing tour operator! He accompanied us on our lower Zambezi river safari day trip and was so knowledgeable about the local culture and wildlife! We all had such a great time and felt well taken care of. We saw tons of crocs, hippos, elephants, baboons, monkeys, and colorful birds up close, often within 15-20 ft of the boat. We were worried it would be hot but the breeze on the boat and shade was very comfortable. Definitely would go again with Nate! 100/100!

My Aussie friend and I recently acquired the services of Nate's African Expeditions for 2 trips .A day trip to lower Zambezi from Lusaka,and weekend trip to Livingstone from Lusaka. We told him what we wanted and he arranged the itinerary in advance . He was our tour guide and driver for both trips. It went well and according to plan.The highlights of the tour were a close up encounter with lions, a tour of an 800 year old ancestral village and lunch on the island on the Zambezi river River, with two elephants slowly walking across the other side of the island background while we ate lunch. We did walking tours, game drives and river safaris. We enjoyed driving through the countryside. For tours, trips, safaris in Zambia, the services of Nates' African Expeditions are highly recommended.
