1st May 2025. Tour Report Part 1.

After months of anticipation, the day of reckoning was here, and the clients Julie and Ally landed in Lusaka. For many months before their arrival, we had worked with them to customize their itinerary. Over the next 22 days, this tour would take us on a road trip through Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique, with day visits to Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia. As you can imagine, there was a lot of planning and preparation that went into this.

The day after their arrival, we drove from Lusaka to Livingstone, and over the next 3 days we had an intense schedule. Among other activities, we toured the Mosi-Oa-Tunya/Victoria Falls from both Zambia and Zimbabwe, had a helicopter flight over the falls, a village tour, safaris in Zambia and Chobe Botswana, a sunset cruise in Livingstone, walking tours, and a day trip to Namibia.

All the while, we ate as much local food as possible, and supported small businesses where we could.

Of course, many of the activities were led by resident guides and partners, and we are very thankful to them for successfully and safely completing each activity.
