The Southern Africa Tour! Due to logistical challenges, we continue to offer this as a private tour, and not as a group tour. This exciting adventure takes us through Zambia, Malawi and central Mozambique. Starting in Livingstone, Zambia and ending at Ilha de Mozambique (Mozambique Island), diverse activities and experiences await! Activities: * A game drive with a short nature walk to see the rhinos * A village tour * A tour of Victoria Falls from the Zambia side * Sunset cruise on Zambezi River above the falls Day 2: Livingstone & Chobe Day trip to Chobe National Park, Botswana. * A morning game drive * An afternoon boat excursion on the Chobe River. Day 3: Livingstone & Vic Falls Town Day trip to Vic Falls Town, Zimbabwe. * Tour of the Falls from the Zimbabwe side * Helicopter flight over the falls * Walking tour of Vic Falls Town Day 4: Livingstone - Chiawa Area of Lower Zambezi Full day travel Day 5: Lower Zambezi * Nature walk and hike to the bat caves & baobab forest * Half day boat safari on Zambezi River Day 6: Lower Zambezi - Petauke Town Full day travel Day 7: Petauke Town - South Luangwa We will arrive at South Luangwa around noon. * An afternoon game drive Day 8: South Luangwa * A morning walking safari * An afternoon game drive Day 9: South Luangwa - Dedza, Malawi Full day travel Day 10: Dedza - Cape Maclear Full day travel but with activities: * Tour of a pottery * Tour of a cultural museum * Traditional lunch Day 11: Cape Maclear * Halfday boat trip on Lake Malawi, with an island lunch Day 12: Cape Maclear - Liwonde National Park We will arrive at Liwonde around noon. * Afternoon game drive Day 13: Liwonde - Zomba - Mount Mulanje * Boat safari on Liwonde River * Lunch at a mountain top dam in Zomba Day 14: Mount Mulanje * Half day hike to Likhubula Falls Day 15: Mulanje - Mocuba Town, Mozambique Half day travel Day 16: Mocuba - Ilha de Mozambique Full day travel Day 17 & 18: Ilha * Half day dhow safari & picnic lunch * Tour of a swahili village * Ilha island tour * Sunset ocean cruise Day 19: Ilha - Nampula Town * Ethnic Museum Day 20: Nampula Town Airport drop.
